ECCE is the foremost IEEE conference in the field of electrical and electromechanical energy conversion, co-sponsored by the IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) and the IEEE Industrial Applications Society (IAS). The annual ECCE conference was founded in 2009 through the merging of the PELS Power Electronics Specialist Conference (PESC) and the Industrial Power Conversion Systems Department Sessions of the IAS Annual Meeting, both with a long history and excellent reputation. The broad base, appeal and quality of ECCE are a testament to the cooperation and strategic planning of both IEEE societies. Since its first meeting in 2009, ECCE has been steadily growing in the scope, quality, and number of technical papers, attendance, participation and involvement of the industry. In 2016, ECCE has reached a record setting attendance of over 1600 engineers, researchers, students, business managers, and policy makers.
ECCE 2017, to be held in the heartland of the North America energy conversion industry, will feature both industry-driven and application-oriented technical sessions, as well as industry expositions and seminars. It will provide engineers, researchers, and professionals a perfect blend of state of the art, technical prowess and commercial opportunities in one attractive location.
IEEE fosters technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity.
IEEE will be essential to the global technical community and to technical professionals everywhere, and be universally recognized for the contributions of technology and of technical professionals in improving global conditions.
