Final Paper Submission Instructions
Paper and Copyright Submission
- Upload your final paper in PDF format no later than Jul 20, 2025 23:59 (UTC -0500). Ensure your submission complies with the specifications outlined within the portal. You will need a Paper Upload Code from your registration confirmation to submit your final paper.
- Due to publication deadlines, no time extensions will be granted.
- Your IEEE copyright release must be filed by Jul 20, 2025 23:59 (UTC -0500). After logging into your author account in ePapers, click the red “X” in the copyright column of your accepted paper & follow on-screen instructions. This will begin the digital filing process for your copyright release.
- Once final submission has closed on Jul 20, 2025 23:59 (UTC -0500), this version of your paper is considered final and may not be changed for any reason. You should confirm all details of your submission (authors, correcting spelling, data, etc.) before submitting your paper, as this will be the final manuscript presented to conference participants and submitted to IEEE Xplore for permanent archive. NO REQUESTS FOR MANUAL UPDATES TO YOUR FINAL SUBMITTED MANUSCRIPT WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Plagiarism Policy
All final papers will be screened using the IEEE CrossCheck system. Papers with a high similarity score will be returned to the authors for mandatory revisions. Failure to address these issues may result in the paper being excluded from the conference proceedings.

- Before uploading your final paper, ensure it meets IEEE Xplore compliance using the IEEE PDF eXpress system:

- IMPORTANT NOTE: Checking your PDF file for compliance and submitting your final paper for publication are two separate procedures. After using the IEEE PDF eXpress system for file compliance, MAKE SURE to return to the ECCE 2025 final submission web site and upload your compliant final submission
Self-Citation Policy
Please ensure to avoid excessive self-citation in the final manuscript. Excessive self-citation occurs when authors excessively reference their own papers in their work. It can also arise when an author repeatedly cites the work of another author, which is known as redundant citation or repeated authors in the reference section. ECCE may reject the full paper or request revision if excessive (>25%) self-citation is identified.
Further, after logging into your author account in ePapers, click the edit (pencil) icon and complete the 3 citation questions in the middle portion of the submission form. Be sure to click the save button at the bottom of the screen.
