WHAT WILL THE TECHNICAL PROGRAM LOOK LIKE?

ECCE2020 will have exciting plenary session and special sessions. All paper presentations will also be available on the virtual platform. Virtual session rooms will be designed to accommodate the online/virtual discussions during the conference. Oral and digital poster (as a replacement of traditional poster sessions) sessions will be scheduled.

ECCE VIRTUAL EVENT REGISTRATION

ECCE 2020 registration is open for your virtual conference participation. Individuals who previously completed their registration at the in-person rate will be transferred to the virtual rate and will receive a refund for the fee differential in the coming weeks. INFORMATION FOR PRESENTERS

Detailed instructions on how to record your presentations are now available at the ECCE FAQs page under the How to Record Your Presentations Tab.

Please follow the standards and templates (Poster and Oral presentation templates are the SAME this year) found on the Posters/Oral Presentation Tab or on the Author Central Page.

Instructions on where to upload your presentations and the deadline for submission will be provided to you shortly.

INFORMATION FOR PRESENTERS

INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS

All authors will be required to upload a pre-recorded video of their presentation (e.g. audio over slides) to the virtual conference platform. Otherwise, the paper will be considered as no-show and will not be included in the conference proceedings. This will ensure that all the virtual attendees have access to the presentations. Audio over slides can be done with relative ease, using free software. Please refer to the How to Record Your Presentation Tab for instructions on how to prepare presentation videos.

INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS

TRAVEL INFORMATION

Please review any previously confirmed travel, and proceed with contacting those providers for cancellation policies. You may want to consider the following advice:

Flights: Many airlines are waiving the change fee on Non-Refundable Fare tickets provided you bought a ticket within a certain time window. Many airlines are also offering refunds if travel is canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please check whether your preferred airline has enacted such policies.

Hotels: If you have made a hotel reservation, please contact the hotel or booking agent directly to cancel as soon as possible to avoid any fees.

If you select to support the 2020 virtual conference, your benefits will be transferred over. MAINTAINING THE INTEGRITY & VALUE OF THE CONFERENCE FOR ATTENDEES, AUTHORS & PRESENTERS

The ECCE 2020 Organizing Committee is taking all steps to ensure the conference meets the expectation levels for engagement and knowledge sharing that ECCE has been delivering for past years. In preparation, the authors/speakers are required to create audio/video presentations for their content. By agreeing to provide the presentation material and registering for the conference, the author’s work (e.g., papers) will be published and made searchable in the IEEE Xplore digital library. The presentation material will only be made available to conference attendees (i.e. those who have registered for the conference) for a limited period of time.
