Sign Up for The WiE Travel Grant!
A travel reimbursement program has been established for participants who wish to attend the IEEE Energy Conversion Congress & Expo (ECCE) 2024 which will be held in Phoenix, AZ, Oct. 20 – Oct. 24, 2024. This program, funded by the ECCE 2024 Organizing Committee, will reimburse part of the travel expenses (up to $500 from North America or Mexico and up to $1000 from the rest of the world) associated with the conference. To be eligible for this program, the applicant must:
- Be a member of IEEE
- Be available to attend the Women in Engineering (WiE) Event at the conference
- Have a valid full registration fee receipt
Please note that recipients cannot receive other grants to attend ECCE 2024. Female identifying attendees will be given priority. Students are encouraged to apply for the ECCE 2024 Student Attendance Grants.
Interested applicants should complete the application form by July 8, 2024 with a valid proof of IEEE membership. E-mail notifications of travel awards will be sent by August 30, 2024. A check of $500 or $1000 will be issued to the awardees during the conference with W-9 (US citizens or permanent residents) or W-8 (non-US residents) tax form submission.
