Announcement of winners: The result will be announced at IEEE ECCE WiE Monday Luncheon on Oct 21 2024.
How to Apply:

You MUST have a paper accepted at the conference as author or co-author and be the person to present it at the conference.
-
Your paper should be fully registered.
-
Women applicants are HIGHLY encouraged
-
You MUST prepare a video and send it according to the following rules:
-
The video length needs to be 3 minutes (+/-5 seconds) long
-
The paper information, such as the title, authors, affiliations, if another woman is co-authoring the paper, etc., need to be included;
-
The video needs to be shared through cloud-based channels, such as Onedrive, Dropbox, Google Drive, YouTube, etc. Make sure to provide the link without requiring permission to view by anyone who has the link.
-
Evaluation:
-
The scope of this award is to have the presenters working on the clarity of thoughts and focus on the main concept of the paper: which the question to answer is and how.
-
The evaluation is based on 4 aspects: impact, novelty, presentation, video quality.
-
The video, hence, will support the understanding of the whole paper, but in three minutes the focus should be on the novel concept or novel application of the work. Being comprehensive, though succinct, shall be the backbone supporting the effort of delivering a great presentation, ever!
