About the Event:

Join the IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) and IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) Young Professionals (YP) Reception at ECCE 2026 for an evening of networking, collaboration, and community building.

This event brings together students, young professionals, researchers, industry engineers, and experienced leaders from around the world in an informal setting designed to foster meaningful connections. Whether you are a student, a recent graduate, or an early-career professional, the YP Networking event offers an excellent opportunity to expand your professional network, exchange ideas with peers and senior professionals, and learn about opportunities to become involved in IEEE, PELS, IAS, and Young Professionals activities.

The event will begin with a brief overview of the Young Professionals program, followed by presentations from the IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) Young Professionals, IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) Young Professionals, and the IEEE Region 7 Young Professionals team. These presentations will highlight the opportunities, initiatives, and benefits available through the IEEE Young Professionals community.

Following the presentations, the evening will transition into interactive networking activities designed to help participants connect in a fun and engaging way. Through Bingo games, networking challenges, and team-based activities, attendees will break the ice, exchange experiences, and build meaningful connections across academia and industry.
